Our ability to carry out a complete quality job is sometimes determined by the necessity to obtain original replacement parts.
Whilst manufacturers support many independent Technicians with support material and spare parts (some) do not.
In these situations, we have other international sources who do. The downside is delivery times; the upside is a competitively priced finished job.
The Good and not so good News is:
In House Manufacture
Dependent on the part type, we are often capable of sourcing equivalents or manufacturing the original component.
For example: Electronic components, such as IC's, microprocessors and most passive devices such as resistors and capacitors are still available from the OEM.
For mechanical components, alternatives are available via lath work or in the case of "soft parts" such as plastics: 3d printing
